For deep proteome profiling of biofluids such as plasma by enrichment of membrane bound vesicles. The kit is suitable for automated or manual enrichment of 96 samples. Larger formats and kit containing digestion enzymes coming soon!
The Mag-Net™ HP (High Performance) Kit contains magnetic polymeric microparticle support designed for the capture of membrane bound vesicles using the Mag-Net™ approach as described by the MacCoss Lab at University of Washington Department of Genome Sciences. The kit uses proprietary beads and buffers to achieve increased proteome coverage of plasma, and can provide over 50% increase in coverage over the traditional Mag-Net™ protocol. The kit is suitable for processing 96 samples on automated magnetic bead handling stations and liquid handling stations, and the protocl has been optimized for use with plasma, but may be suitable for use with other biofluids (contact us for further information).
For best results the manufacturer recommends using plasma collected according to the EDRN SOP.
