Cantin Baron is a computational biologist and applied machine learning scientist specializing in AI-driven multiomics analysis. He earned his PhD in Bioinformatics from Université de Montréal, with highest distinction and the best thesis award, and has held research positions at Mila – Quebec AI Institute, the Montreal Heart Institute, with international experience at EMBL EBI, University of Cambridge, and Inria, Université Côte d’Azur, France. He leads the Data Science team at Allumiqs, where, driven by the molecular stories hidden in data, he brings over ten years of experience across genomics, metabolomics and multiomics to translate complex molecular datasets into actionable insights and deepen understanding across every facet of biology.
