Introduction

By analyzing the peptide charge population across a wide range of FAIMS CV values, our study reveals significant performance variability between two FAIMS devices on the same Orbitrap Exploris 480 platform. We observed a 62% difference in precursor and a 15% difference in protein identifications at CV = -60.
