MagReSyn® Streptavidin MS (Mass Spectrometry)

MagReSyn® Streptavidin MS (Mass Spectrometry), is specifically designed to cater for applications in proteomics requiring on-bead enzymatic digestion of proteins using LysC and/or Trypsin, such as BioID. This is achieved through the chemical modification of lysine and arginine residues of Streptavidin as previously described by Rafiee et al (2020). The chemical modification of these residues has been optimized to retain a high affinity for Biotin, retaining over 80% of the capacity of our standard Streptavidin product, but with multiple-fold decreases in the release of streptavidin peptides resulting from on-bead digestion.
